Carmen’s accounting career began early, fuelled by curiosity and a love of tackling tricky financial puzzles. She’s worked across New Zealand and the UK, specialising in complex reconciliations that no one else could solve, and has also run her own tourism business while raising her family.

Carmen now supports some of Sumpters’ biggest clients and enjoys problem-solving, improving systems and taking stress off business owners. She loves her work but lives for holidays with her family. She also enjoys being active outdoors and is passionate about treading lightly on the planet.
