Cathy started her career in payroll at the Northland Dairy Company before studying accounting so she could manage her family’s farming accounts. Twenty-five years later, she’s still passionate about supporting people in business, and her role at Sumpters lets her do exactly that.

Cathy takes pride in the long-standing relationships she’s built and enjoys helping clients navigate an ever-changing accounting landscape, including many elderly clients. She’s inspired by people who are caring, resilient and make a positive impact on others.

Outside work, Cathy is happiest near the ocean, spending time with her whānau and mokopuna, dancing, gardening and travelling.
