Greg has decades of experience in Chartered Accounting and a genuine commitment to helping clients succeed. Before joining Sumpters, he was a Director at Syers Hamilton Pool Ltd, where he proudly led the firm before it merged with Sumpters in 2021. He then transitioned into a consulting role, and continues to work closely with long-standing clients, offering trusted advice at every stage of the business lifecycle.

Greg particularly enjoys working with people - helping clients make informed business decisions, and being part of a close-knit team. He values Sumpters’ supportive culture and collaborative way of working, and he’s inspired by people who stay positive, set goals and work hard to achieve them.

Away from the office, Greg leads a busy and active lifestyle. He enjoys biking, swimming, walking and keeping fit at the gym, as well as spending time outdoors fishing or working around his property. A big sports fan - especially rugby - he also enjoys home brewing, and occasionally picks up the guitar.
