Kate began her accounting career in 1997 after completing her diploma, joining local firm Syers Hamilton Pool, and later earning her degree while working. After time overseas, she returned to Whangārei and rejoined the firm in 2007, becoming an Associate Chartered Accountant in 2009. She joined Sumpters in 2021 when the two firms merged.

As a Senior Accountant, Kate helps clients navigate more complex accounting matters and enjoys the variety her role brings day to day.
